Hi, I'm using the SONOFF MINIR4.

They don't bring on this integration these options :

  • Set Timer
  • Setup the Iching : on/off , time, auto-on/auto-off
  • Set the reinitiate state: on/off/last state , delay on/off , delay time.

Could we implement this resources?
I migrate few tuya switches to sonoff and only now noticed the missing settings, which I used to use before on tuya for my automation.

These things are usually set up once for the life of the device. I don't see the point in clogging up the integration and Home Assistant with these toggles.

Not sure if I understand what you mean.
If you mean, since I already added the device, even if you implement this support, I will not see it.
No problem, I remove the integration and add it again.

These options are crucial for automation and make me reconsider using sonoff with home assistant...
Also, for new users, the implementation will be valid.

I mean this setting can be configured once in original ewelink mobile application.

All depends of the scope.
Maybe, for you appear to be useless have them on H.A., but, not for others.

Timer , make no sense use the ewelink. This is a set for the moment, this is the main feature I missing here.
Since automation on H.A aren't reliable (if restarted , stops) , I use the timer of my swtichs to turn them off.

Iching , is an option which can work like a timer, have access thru home assistant enable to customize all in one interface.
Per example, one of my switches, they behave should be: if turned on thru the interruptor/switch (manually), automatically turn off 6 hours later (Iching) , if turned on thru automation/script, they already set the timer for 2,4 or 6 hours....
Have this interface allow me to have a panel on my dashboard with they value to my wife adjust this time if consider necessary.

renitiate state , this is something that we set once and rarely will change, yes, this is an option where we can set on the ewelink, but why if we have all interface on H.A? This break all utility of H.A.
Just to illustrate an example where I use this? I have 10 smart sockets, where I use on my TV, Freezer, washmachine, dishmachine, etc. Eletronics which if occur a power down, they don't start automatically when the power back on. An automation turn them on 5 minutes later the H.O. back on too .
This is kind of protection when occur some oscillation on power outages.
So, I need to set new smart socket for that or even when I change some regular smart socket for a new component where I have this desire
I have a panel on my dashboard only to set this :

So, my point of view is that all resources of the device should be available and each user define what is useful and keep enable at H.A.
