TODO for release / Notes for the assessment spreadsheet

Things left to do:

• write script to create overview patch
• preview UC license for edits
• review README.md
• review package-info.json, I mostly just copied the one from depot 1.0
• review Wiki
  • I added a few pages to the Wiki, just copy/pasting from the depot 1.0 wiki
• the extras folder
  • .maxhelp files don't show up in the overview, only .maxpat files, so I wrote a script to take a folder and change the extensions of all the files in it. the script is called change_extension.py and it's in the source folder
  • I ran this script on every helpfile in the help folder, then added these to the extras folder
  • but a problem with this is that you can't have a maxpatch contain itself, so these files had to have a different name than what the object is, so I put an underscore before the name of all these patches
  • another thing to note is that there are a good amount of patches in the depot that don't have helpfiles (like Sample_Guide.maxpat). We would want these to show up in the extras menu, but I don't have a solution for this

Notes regarding the assessment spreadsheet.

• Every single patch in the depot 2.0 is in this spreadsheet, including the additions from Rama's m158a
• All the work I did was in the "Depot 2.0" tab, not the "inventory" tab.
• I didn't test any of the pedagogical patches (tutors, tutorials, Music29)
• the patches marked to be moved to CNMAT Pedagogy need to be moved
• as noted on the spreadsheet, there are still some patches in the depot missing helpfiles and missing badge/banner
• the "any problems?" column in the spreadsheet lets you know which patches still need work, most of this is missing helpfiles
