Hello Silent, I have been having these sound issues since I updated to your newer version of the patch.
downgrading back to the previous version made the sound go back to normal, expect for the voice pitch issues (where the voices speed up or slow down) :c

Weird... how does it work without the patch then? Is it broken like this?

Without any of your patches, I get the graphical corruptions, however on your 2020 version of the patch, the only audio issues I had were the voices pitch speeding up or slowing down.

What happens if you try to run the game on a single core, like it is originally? Add SingleCoreAffinity=1 to the settings.ini file.

a settings.ini never appears in my game dir, (I have 2 save files in my game, yet the dir, only shows one with an older date for example)

Also I'm using the remaster mod, but the saves and presumably the settings, have been doing this even before I used the remaster mod.

Do you have the same installed in Program Files? Might be that those files land in VirtualStore.
