Hosting other docker services at subdomains of domain running Easy Engine?

I'm trying to host other docker services at subdomains of the same domain/ip as Easy Engine.

I have Easy Engine setup

• domain.com
• another.com
• api.third.com
• etc.

I'd like to access other docker containers on the same server, alongside Easy Engine

• eg. portainer
  • portainer.domain.com
• eg. linkding
  • bookmarks.domain.com
• eg. filebrowser
  • files.domain.com

..but currently accessing the subdomain redirects to the domain of the first website that was setup with Easy Engine on this server

Can anybody advise what I might need to change to get these to live alongside each other?

• reverse proxy?
• docker?
• nginx?
• dns?

It seems proxy_pass is the answer, not managed to do it so far
