Since I am already reporting some inconsistencies I noticed while using the service, I started clicking random buttons I have never used before and noticed some more unexpected behavior (at least on Firefox on Ubuntu). They are all similar in nature, that's why I only open a single issue for all of them. If you prefer multiple, just let me know (a code-of-conduct might be helpful). While they might be low priority, I have not found these cases reported here, so here is my list of (mild) inconveniences and related suggestions:

  • when in the measurement and polygon/rectangle draw modes, exiting is only possible via the escape key, which was not immediately obvious to me (I'd expect enter/right click to do something too or at least a clearly visible note on how to exit, assuming I accidentally clicked the button)
  • when inside the polygon/rectangle draw modes, the click-to-draw-popup is visible below them, when the mouse is hovering over buttons.
  • when moving the map without planning a route, avoid shapes disappear
  • when entering measurement mode, the avoid shapes draw modes are not exited
  • the avoid rectangle drawing tool begins drawing when clicking the accessible mode button (or when using the measurement tool)
