I'm trying to deal with the images

good morning,
Why, Leko's minimal blog, in its root folder has neither an index.js, nor an image folder, nor a node.js?
I'm trying to deal with the images but having a somewhat different folder and file structure than the tutorials, it's all a bit confusing.
I also don't understand ,why the frontmatter banner does not appear.
