Suggestion: Host frontend files from the backend image
I do not know how hard it would by, but would it be possible to have the frontend static files added to the backend image so that a specific librephotos proxy is not required?

It is possible, but there needs to be some effort to ensure everything is backwards compatible to not break current environments. The proxy also hosts the media files and benchmarks on the performance are also needed.
