Boosted v5.2.0 is here and finally stable! — following Bootstrap v5.2.0 — This version is the biggest version since v5 itself. This release features redesigned docs, CSS variables for almost all our components, responsive offcanvas, new helpers and utilities, and lots of improvements under the hood.

New Orange components are available: Orange navbar, quantity selector, star rating, sticker, nested tabs, footer, and title bars. We also worked on some dark variants of components available in Boosted.

Please review the GitHub v5.2.0 changelog for a complete list of changes since our previous release, and have a look at Boosted website in version 5.

Docs redesign

Bootstrap docs have been redesigned. We did our best to absorb this big amount of modifications in our Boosted documentation as previewed in our beta release.

We will work with the designers to improve it and to be more compliant with the design guidelines in the next versions.

This redesign starts with our new homepage where we have a more complete representation of Boosted's features and an updated design.

The docs sidebar navigation has been overhauled to have always expanded groups for easier browsing, a brand new DocSearch experience with search history, and new responsive offcanvas drawers for both sidebar and navbar on mobile.

We even updated our version picker in the navbar to cross-link between minor releases!

New components and variants

This new version of Boosted contains a lot of new components. Some existed entirely or partially in the v4, and others are completely new.

Orange navbar

Orange navbar component will allow you to display Orange headers as it was the case in v4. A lot of variants are available with supra bars, global headers, and navigation under.

Check the examples page to see all of them and the sticky/fixed header example page with a minimize animation.

Footer

Headers wouldn't mean much without a Footer component. Here it is! Very modulable and so with several variants.

Title Bars

Use our Title bar component to display the title of your pages right below an Orange navbar.

Star rating & Quantity Selector

Check out our Star rating and Quantity Selector components ready to be included in your forms!

Sticker

Check out our Sticker component that will help you inform people about new offers. All variants are visible on the examples page​.

Dark variants

We have reintegrated some dark variants in this beta like the buttons and created some new for alerts, accordions, etc. This is still a work in progress but we plan to do it for all components in Boosted.

You can also take a look at Boosted boards to follow our progress. We are still dependent on the Bootstrap releases but they will release a v5.2.1 rather quickly so we will take this opportunity to embed the last things we wanted to initially integrate into the v5.2.0.
