Feature

as of right now, the scatter command is very limited. unlike the detail option, it is missing some useful features in detailing nh-generated planets. quantum grouping itself could also use a suggestion or two. my suggestions for both quantum grouping and the scatter command are:

  • allowing the scattering of quantum groups across a planet (this is what i suggested in the discord)
  • allowing scattered props to be apart of quantum groups
  • allowing randomly generated sockets for quantum grouping (maybe tweak them based on radius to the center?)

Context

i will also add base game examples to strengthen my suggestion. places like the eye of the universe and quantum moon "scatter" props throughout the planet with quantum properties, if that helps with developing the feature or gives you any better reasons to add it.

I don't really feel like doing this since you can just do it manually but sure. Scatter as a feature was made early on when a blank planet with some trees was novel enough, nowadays with story mods using Unity for level design its very out of date and largely irrelevant.
