Now that ADMS-AP will receive attention of a working group, I would like to put forward the question:
Is ADMS-AP an application profile of ADMS, or is it an application profile of DCAT?

Another point to think about is that the W3C ADMS specification was once developed by ISA, but no work has been done on it since it was released, and since then ADMS-AP has drifted away from its upstream model, gravitating towards DCAT.
Should ADMS (the upstream W3C spec) evolve? Perhaps now that DCAT 2 has been released there are some possibilities for this? In which contexts is the W3C spec used today?

I don't have a clear vision about these issues at the moment, if someone has more historical context and ideas, that would be very welcome.

I have similar, but even more disruptive concerns, related to the evolution and use of ADMS. Pleasse see Issue #12.

@sandervd and @paulakeen, it is good to express your views here. I invite others to express their concerns too, as this will enable us to see what is the best future for ADMS(-AP).
