Minutes:

  • @JeromeJu talked about the TKG work he did to create an AQAcert.log file (a metadata file) that contains java -version information and release information, that will be included with the test results files to give information about the "object under test". This is a valuable feature for both AQAvit verification, but also to support development work (to know which SHAs of the source code repos are included in the JDK under test.
  • Discussion on what remains for AQAvit Verification, 3 pieces of work listed, only one of the 3 is critical path (Archive TAP files #3394), the other 2 items will be very helpful:
    A) automation to grab all tap files and AQAcert.log file and push them to either releases repo or artifactory (needs an issue)
    B) EPIC: TRSS workflow for AQAvit certification aqa-test-tools#547
  • @amir-waheed shared a recording of the Auto Re-enable Tests feature, specifically talking about the Jenkins script that she has been working on that can trigger the python scripts from @gervaisj which create a JSON file that can be read to trigger Grinder jobs to retest tests that are candidates for re-inclusion.
  • Quick news update on Deep AQAtik and CAS (Centre for Advanced Studies program), not sure when it will begin, but approval on funding for a professor to do some research towards that project (our initial prototype described here: https://github.com/adoptium/aqa-test-tools/wiki/Outreachy-TRSS-Machine-Learning-Project:-Deep-AQAtik)
