Some of the bots provide IP address blocklists, which may be more practical in some cases.
For example: https://platform.openai.com/docs/gptbot

I don’t know if there is a collection of these anywhere yet, or if other such ranges are available publicly.

Hmmm. I'm not sure IP addresses are really in scope for this repository. The clue is in the name ai.robots.txt. Also darkvisitors.com doesn't attempt to list IP addresses.

However, I guess it may be relevant to put a link under "Additional resources" in the README if anyone knows a definitive source of AI crawler IP addresses.
