Key binds #523
Comments
Your observation is correct — right now the key bindings for certain actions are currently hard-coded. |
I am curious about what your setup is. Would you elaborate on how your normal game setup looks like, and why you prefer it over normal key mappings? As far as I know, it is really rare to see people using directional arrow keys to press the notes, other than in dance simulation games. It takes quite an effort to allow all keys to be remapped, so I want to learn about these use cases, and also see how much demand there is for it, so that I can prioritize accordingly. For now if you want this fixed, this game is open source, which means you can download the game’s source code, and modify it to suit your needs. |
You don't need to do anything. I just found this game and wanted to leave my feedback. My setup for other games: q w e (a s d) + left down right. For note speed: numpad+ and numpad- |
I use LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT as a big part of my setup. But every time I press DOWN notes slows down. There is no way to rebind that. Fix it.
