Standard Operating Procedures

This page describes the three major steps carried out by the IPython Notebooks:

  1. Metadata processing: automated curation and merging of metadata tables
  2. Sequence processing: OTU picking, taxonomy assignment, alignment, and tree building
  3. Core analyses: alpha diversity, beta diversity, principal coordinates, and taxa summaries
