essentially your router and/or ISP are blocking ipv6 but your steam client machines are trying to resolve it.. I'd suggest disabiling ipv6 on all clients and seeing if this issue goes away. You may have larger issues, that this symptom is masking.. I have a working ipv4 setup and see these errors without issue from clients who attend my lans and don't disable ipv6..
Cache steam not working anymore after fresh install, error log:
[error] 1338#1338: *312 ipv6check-http.steamcontent.com could not be resolved (3: Host not found), client: 192.168.1.107, server: steam, request: "GET /server-status HTTP/1.1", host: "ipv6check-http.steamcontent.com"
Cache for other clients / Games just works fine,
appreciate your support regarding this guys.
thanks.
