Some broad comments about the goals of the visual:

• adding pyramids omitted by Lehner (appr. 26 pyramids, incuding queens)
• find a way to move away from a monodimensional representation of pyramid development in the Old Kingdom. Instead represent somehow the complexity: start of dynasty, length of a king's reign, site location, unfinished/unbuilt pyramids etc.
• regarding the graph: a first step could be to update the curve by including the mass of pyramids of queens (perhaps a separate curve on the graph), since the one of Lehner focuses only on the mass of pyramid of kings.
