Matt R. tried to add a comma-separated list of addresses to a mailing list, which didn't validate. This is the message he got:

"The change you wanted was rejected.

Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to."

This message didn't help him figure out the problem.

On a more broader scale list list doesn't seem to handle errors in a suer friendly way.
