Network background image

I want to render visnetwork on the shiny app with background image which can be zoomed in and out and dragged together with the network. There is a discussion and some examples for the JS version of the package in this issue https://github.com/almende/vis/issues/1397․ I would really appreciate it if you can provide an example shiny app whit this functionality.
