There used to be code from legacy EDGE to attempt to use colocated PLAYPALs for indexed images in mapsets/mods, but it ended up causing a lot of issues. I think this is worth reattacking so that palette conflicts can be avoided (for instance, I tried using Astral Pathfinder weapons with Dimension of the Boomed)
