Ah yes, free pyramid is where after a break, any ball can be used as a cue ball and have tight pockets, which makes potting a single ball more difficult as it has much lower margin of error, and scratches are allowed so long as they hit another ball before potting the cue ball

There is also dynamic pyramid where only a red sphere can be used as a cue ball (as usual with other pool games) amongst others including obscure ones
