As per title, I would like to use the production build of ente (photos) on Android / iOS without having to re-build (and maintain) the client apps myself.
It looks like the way the mobile app works at the moment is by having a
--dart-define=endpoint
option: this requires a full build of the Android / iOS app.With this feature request, I would like to see something like Bitwarden mobile clients, where users can specify (at login time) a custom server URL, or use the default one if they don't want to change this.
This will allow users to self-host without having to go through the pain of sideloading the Android / iOS app and maintaining it up to date with the (already released) app.
