KeyError: 8 German 2001 LIWC

Hi,
has anybody used the German 2001 .dic with this library? I am getting "KeyError: 8" when I try to load the lexicon.
I faced exactly the same situation with another LIWC Python library. I tried the solution that worked out for that library, but it didn't work out, as can be seen in this issue that I opened for that library.

I would appreciate any feedback.
