Story

As a user of the DNF mirrors-countme scripts in Fedora infrastructure,
I want that it is made more robust against issues with publishing messages to the Fedora message bus,
so that these don’t prevent the scripts from doing their job.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Scripts in the Ansible repo which send messages to the bus catch exceptions or otherwise cope with failures.
  • These scripts are updated on log01 accordingly.

Background

End of October 2023, a couple of days worth of log data failed to be synced from individual hosts to log01 because the certificate of this machine for the message bus was expired.
