I'm currently using GLPI in an IT department. The biggest showstopper for a good usability is the horrible text editor of GLPI starting with the buggy paragraph borders. For example, it is a pain in the ass to mark a paragraph and format it as code. Currently you need the same amount of time to write a text and then to format this text. I mean: Compare writing in GLPI and writing in GitHub. I don't want to click around when I want to mark some words as code, I just want to use backticks. Same for everything else.
I would be fine with Markdown as an opt-in writing standard but please don't force everyone to use the current text editor.
