The problem

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with my iPhone 16, which is properly added to my Home Assistant. All the information from the iPhone is being retrieved correctly, including the iphone_16_mael_focus sensor (the one corresponding to focus modes like "Do Not Disturb" or "Sleep"). However, when I activate a focus mode, the sensor remains false. I tested this with an iPhone 15, and everything works perfectly in that case.

What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?

noyau-2024.12.5

Bonjour,

I just ran some new tests; I went to Developer Tools -> Status -> and set the focus to On.

The status switches to active correctly, but when I turn off Sleep Mode on my iPhone, the focus switches to inactive. However, when I try to turn Sleep Mode back on, it doesn’t work again.

When I make a modification, it’s "iPhone 16 Maël Last Update Trigger" that changes to "Periodic."

Hello,

I found the solution, I had added the Home Assistant app to the list of allowed apps to send notifications during focus mode. Now removed, the focus modes are working. However, I have a new issue: I want to receive notifications from Home Assistant even when focus mode is enabled. How can I do that?

The only way is to allow Home Assistant in the allowed apps list. (or send critical notifications always, but I dont think you want that)
