Please do a favor for everyone checking this out in 2025 and update the Readme Section for "Note on new RM4/LB1 devices".
RM4 (tested with RM4mini) CAN be added to your wifi network with the newest Broadlink App on IOS and Android.
There is no need for one of the older mentioned apps (which fail in configuring RM4 anyways).
They CAN operate in cloud mode AND "iobroker controller mode" simultaneously.
Simply add the device as guided by Broadlink. No need to quit the app or any other tricks... simply and completely add the device.
Then in the Broadlink app go to the newly added RM4 device and select "property".
Ad the bottom of the pages is a switch "Lockdown" or "Sperrvorrichtung".
Deactivate the switch and the device is now controllable from ioBroker AND Cloud.
Tested learning and sending codes: Works from Broadlink App and ioBroker.
Tested firewalling the devices from the Internet after adding to wifi - local ioBroker control still works.
Did not test RM4pro - but it should work the same.
