When you enter the ip address from the cloud key, you can’t find any cameras? The cloud key use UniFi Video and that’s works with this app. What for cameras do you have? Are they on the same network as the homey. |
Hi, That doesn't work. When I put in the ip I also need to have a api code. using: |

@FranSooS if you don't know what Slack is, you don't have it i think? Slack is an developers chat application with an channel for Homey. When i get the new Cloud Key 2gen i will check if it is possible to support it. |
That would be great 👍
Thanks in advance,

Because the Cloud-key Gen2 doesn't have an API we are testing to connect directly to the camera. More information will be found in issue #22 |
Nice device; I believe though this one runs UniFi Protect which is the successor to UniFi Video. I might invest in such a thing or wait until the Debian package is released to see whether support should be added in this Homey app or if it deserves its own. It seems that they are busy testing it at Ubiquiti as ppl already got their hands on some versions but didn't succeed running it yet. |
@j0bro next week i will get the Cloud-key Gen2 with UniFi Protect so when i have it i will reverse engineering the portal to see if i can make an Homey App. |
if I can test something, I would love to hear it. |
That is because Cloudkey G2 and newer work on UniFi Protect, not Video. Hopefully you can support UniFi Protect also :) |
Have had the chance to see how Protect works, it is currently feature-wise not on the level of Video (yet) and does not sport a Rest API that can be accessed with user-defined API keys. There seems to be a hidden API available so that opens up possibilities. Some success over here: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/unifi-protect-integration/95121 |
@j0bro i have created an Postman collection for the endpoints, first proof of concepts works already. Only i don't have an Cloud-key Gen2 any more |
Hi,
I use a cloud-key gen2 plus. Is it possible to also add these camera's?
Hope to hear from you
Regards François
