Why Ant Design Vue as a Design Framework for Flint.UI?

Ant Design Vue because:

• It is a CSS framework and not a utility library.
• Meaning, we can use the components directly by importing from its design system. This makes it very easy for building flexible UI and we can focus more on logic rather than dabbling with the design pieces.
• Since it is a framework, we get accessibility out of the box.
• There are large number of components available in their design system, making it fit for our use-case where we need tables, side drawers etc frequently as our project is more towards the Dashboard.
• Ant Design is industry standard with good community support.
• There are certain caveats with customizing the component design, but since we are using Storybook Tooling, that problem is solvable.
• Other alternative for Design system Frameworks in Vue Space is Vuetify and Material Vue. Though, based on the above points, Ant Design seemed to be fitting well.
• We experimented with Tailwind before for a while, but it lead to writing us a lot of boilerplate code for css designs.
• Thus we decided to go with Ant Design. Though, there are pros and cons of every technical decision; we tried to choose what's the best for us.
