It seems more an issue with Nuxt that discards some runtime config during update call.

I'm experiencing this issue right now.

It seems like my initial request has the event.context.cloudflare.env as null but when soft navigating between pages it isset.

It might be in my implementation, where something is wrong. But it's very hard to debug since the error only occur after i have deployed it to CF.

Adding on this (also using Nuxt):

The platform proxy call is successfully reading env vars from the development environment, since it reads Using vars defined in .dev.vars on dev server startup.

Still, I can't access those variables from the runtimeConfig on Nuxt dev, while I definitely can do so (from the runtimeConfig) on Wrangler dev.

I'll try to find time to create a repro.
