editor plugin doesn't highlight the '~' syntax

• Markwon version: 4.6.2

i'm using the StrikethroughPlugin and the editor plugin to have the markdown syntax highlighted, but it doesn't seem to highlight the Strikethrough '~' all the others work fine.

How can implement this function? I tried to look at the code but I've failed to locate where the function is implemented
