Internal communication channel

I think we need some kind of internal communication do discuss topics that aren't related to a specific repo, make requests, etc.

This question itself is not related to a specific repo and I think as such a perfect fit for the "meta" discussions where it is.
What's needed beyond that (are you thinking about more real time "chat" or something for "tickets" or yet something else)

I think about a real time "chat". I just think it's better to discuss things like "can you give me x permissions for y" or "how do you think about inviting x" privately.
