How to make wider?

I want to make the content of the page and the buttons toolbar wider.
Is it possible to do this with this theme ?
If not then I propose this as a new feature request as the pages are way too narrow.

I'm new to GitHub themes, and I selected this theme but also wanted the page content to be wider.

I created the file /assets/css/style.scss, and inside it, I added the following:
