Add option to minimize/hide leaderboard in multiplayer in lazer

One of the main reasons I don't like playing multiplayer is that I prefer a minimal UI on-screen during gameplay, it's distracting to constantly see position changes on the leaderboard with the corner of my eye. I understand that the leaderboard is there to indicate it's a multiplayer mode, but there’s no reason not to include an option to minimize it so it’s less distracting.
