Explicit License? #39
Comments
Glad you liked it! Not sure how the licensing thing works but I can assure you it's free for all kind of use. If you call that sort of licenses a MIT, then be it MIT!

Hello, Our software shop is strict about using explicit and appropriate licenses. I would really like to use your plugin but before I can I need an explicit license set in the source (readme.txt). The MIT license would be great. Another option that is any looser would be: the WTFPL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WTFPL If this is something that could be added to the readme file that would help me out a ton and potentially help others in similar positions. Thanks so much for your work! |
Thanks for writing Steve! I'm not in state to make the change and push to readme file, but if it helps then I authorise you to use this plugin for all commercial and personal uses for free. Please continue using this plugin, and I will update the readme file soon. Thanks

Based on [the conversation here](prashantchaudhary/ddslick#39) this is adding a license, since it's clear the project's original author has given full permissions for any kind of use.
Hi Prashant Chaudhary, Would you allow us to make use of prashantchaudhary-ddslick under the terms of the MIT license? If you can reply/answer it will be great for us to close the query raised and help us in using this. -Srini |
Hello,
I've looked on your website and in the readme, it says its free, but does it have a certain license? Like MIT or GPL? Am i allowed to use this in Commercial applications?
I like your plugin very much - much internetz to you sir!
