We've recently hit test failures related to zarr's recent v3 release: https://github.com/radio-astro-tools/spectral-cube/actions/runs/12820800542/job/35750974376?pr=929

This is describe in zarr-developers/zarr-python#2134. Updates to the v2 support in zarr-developers/zarr-python#2681 may fix this.
