Are you talking about the song switching before it is finished due to desync between the player and spotify?

A possible workaround is to set the starting position of the playback forwarded by 1-2 seconds, so it'll account for the delay. But, honestly we're just choosing to sacrifice the starting part of the track to get back the ending part, may not be viable.

The other problem is that if the user's spotify player is already halfway through the song and they use /followme, then the track starts playing from the beginning in the bot player I believe.

So the inherent problem is syncing.
