Saving sensor data

Hi, I wondered if it is possible to gather sensor data (e.g. GPS, Accelerometer, Gyroscope) via the app as well in addition to questionnaire items and where to implement the code. As far as I can tell there are js-variables commands available for implementation (e.g. deviceOrientation), but I am unsure how to implement the code into the index-file and how to save the variable alongside the questionnaire-ones.
