pinch zoom gesture in or out snaps image back to original size (unintended response) #462

on a touch device if the image is zoomed in and user attempts to pinch zoom in either direction the image snaps back to its original size. I have tried disabling drag and swipe, even with both disabled this is still happening. I see the same on the demo page on the main doc site.

Has anyone worked out a patch to fix this issue?
