  • It is estimated that bounce emails encoded in anything other than UTF-8 are rare in modern times.
  • We plan to discontinue support for converting Japanese (Shift_JIS, ISO-2022-JP, EUC_JP) to UTF-8 in the near future.
    • sisimai/string/to-something.go
  • Multibyte language except Japanese #17 (won't fix)
  • private/rfc3464/1238-*.eml is unicode-1-1-utf-7
  • set-of-emails/maildir/bsd/lhost-notes-0*.eml is ISO-2022-JP
