After a bit of fiddling around to get this integration to work, I found the comment here #256 (comment) saying Aquarea devices aren't supported. Which would explain my issues. Perhaps it could the clarified in the readme what they are not supported, since they do use the same app Panasonic Comfort Cloud.
Is there something us community members with Aquareas could do to help develope support for these?
