Dear ARC Community,

Greetings! Hope you're doing well. Our team has been working on some significant updates for ARC, and this month's newsletter covers key developments across ARC SaaS, ARC API, and ARC IaC. Take a look to explore the latest improvements and features we've implemented.

Let's dive straight into the updates!

☁️ ARC SaaS

1. Support for Multiple IdPs: We now support tenant onboarding and rollout on multiple IdPs like Auth0 and Cognito. We recently added Auth0 support. We are using Auth0 organizations to maintain isolation for different tiers. Silo tenants will have their own separate organizations, whereas pooled tenants will be a part of the same organization. While creating plans, admin can choose the IdP associated with that particular plan. Thanks to Surbhi Sharma, Harshit Kumar and Yesha Mavani for their contributions.

5. AWS Marketplace Support: We now support native integration with AWS Marketplace. Independent Software vendors can now not only use ARC SaaS control plane to SaaSify their product but also monetise them by listing them on AWS Marketplace, enhancing visibility and customer reach. 🌐 ARC IaC

1. Site to Site VPN: We’ve expanded the capabilities of the terraform-aws-arc-vpn module to now support Site-to-Site VPN, alongside AWS Client VPN. This enhancement simplifies secure network management by enabling both remote client access and encrypted connections between on-premises networks and AWS VPCs, all within a unified Terraform module. 1. Enhanced AWS Network Automation: Our enhanced network module will automate the creation and management of VPCs, subnets, and critical networking components for secure, scalable AWS environments. It will support customizable configurations for public and private subnets, set up NAT gateways, routing tables, and network ACLs, and even allow you to specify the number of NAT gateways for optimized cost and performance.

2. Simplified RDS Deployment and Security: Our DB module will simplify the deployment of RDS instances, clusters (including Aurora), and proxies, ensuring high availability and enhanced performance. With seamless RDS Proxy integration for efficient connection management, it will also include robust security features such as AWS KMS encryption, VPC security groups, and subnet group support to create secure, scalable database environments.

3. Database Migrations with DMS Module: The DMS module simplifies database migrations by utilizing multi-AZ replication instances for high availability and customizable tasks for full loads, ongoing replication, and real-time change data capture (CDC), ensuring efficient data transfer between source and target databases.

🔧 ARC API

1. Auth0 IdP: ARC authentication-package now supports Auth0 authentication, allowing you to integrate Auth0 as an identity provider for your web application. This enhancement provides you the flexibility to choose the identity provider that suites your organisational standards. Thanks to Yesha Mavani for this contribution.
