unable to chartify in notebook environment due to below errow.

WebDriverException: Message: 'chromedriver' executable needs to be in PATH. Please see https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/chromedriver/home

Please see the installation instructions in the readme and let us know if there are any issues. https://github.com/spotify/chartify/blob/master/README.rst#installation

.show('html') output should still work without chromedriver.

I was able to solve this problem by installing chromedriver with homebrew:

brew cask install chromedriver
