I was trying to set the diagnostic with the some highlights there is a way?

Do you mean highlighting the diagnostic findings in the bar?

I do use the diagnostic highlights when having slimline configured as fg:

I decided not to use diagnostic colors when using bg because it did not look that good for me.
Should we make it configurable?
