Describe the bug
On Windows one can select text on word bounderies easily by double-click, hold and drag (click lmb, release lmb, quickly click lmb again and hold, move mouse, release lmb). Currently, double-clicking a word selects that word, but when dragging the mouse, no further text will be selected.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Open a PDF file with text
Quickly double-click a word and keep the left mouse button (lmb) pressed
Move the cursor to the next/previous word
Release the lmb
Expected behavior
At point 3 the selection already extends to the next/previous word.
Additional context
I'm on Windows 11 24H2.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
Traditionally SumatraPDF never selects more than the surrounding Synctex area or "word" boundary around a point
There never has been a line selection ability just area (control Left click) thus from selection to left or right
