Fatal errors when running on PostgreSQL DB #53

Tried running it with PostgreSQL DB and it produces fatal errors. Looking through I can tell it needs updating. I can look at fixing it and doing a pull request if there is some desire.

I need this updated to run on SS4!

@terryapodaca I won't be looking at SS4, there is another issue open for that. I see no major issues with them together.
