CHANGELOG
* numbat-inet v0.2
- Bug Fix: WMaxCtrlBS::getIDFromName...
- BUG FIX: Possible SegFault on renegotiation of dissabled flows
- Modified disconnect methods to support dynamic SS deletition.
- WiMaxBaseMobility finish function now deletes the HostRef from the ChannelControl module.
(this is also missing in INET's BaseMobility!). This enables dynamic SS deletetion.
- Public Function to retrieve the number of SSs associated with the BS
- dlSymbolsPc is now a parameter on the bsMac module (where 1-dlSymbolsPc = ulSymbolsPc)
- RSA NACKs are now logged as scalar
- Some documentation added
- Retry Connection on Scan Response for any NACKed flow
- Fairness fixxed in the scheduler
- Scheduler now just WARNS for misconfiguration (out of symbols), instead of opp_error
- ulSymbolsPc now indicates the % of symbols used for Uplink
- ulSymbolsPc_admit can be used to indicate how many symbols should be used for admission
control, independently from the number used for scheduling
* numbat-inet v0.1 (~ 15 Dec 2010)
- BE Under Congestion: Fairness fixed
- BE Ctrl Connection are treated as high priority... not doing this makes the sim. to collapse due
to lack of updates.
- Handle Rx BWR is now a new separate function
- BS MAC parameters are now class members, to be able to be modified in run time for all functions
- Proper handling for connection NACK on the SS side
- Added service name (srvName) on FlowCreation, AddConnection and WMaxCon for presentation purposes.
- Logger Level added in WMaxCtrlBS statically (no parameter)
- BUG fixed on CAC (UGS)
- WiMax uses now its OWN ChannelControl module called "WiMaxCC" (default) so it does not
receive messages from other networks like WiFi (when they co-exist in the scenario)
- CAC: BS will not accept connections (UGS, RTPS) that cannot serve
- BS can now decline connections
- Mac as module interface, so we can extend to DBA protocol support, or change the schedulers.
- QForContainer from PON added in WMaxConn so we can have statistics per CID
- Destructors added where needed - memory leaks fixed
- On packet reception SS updates display string
- SS Handover is based on the ChannelControl rather than the displayString for the distances
- BS are registering on the ChannelControl Module in order to log their position
- SS Mobility is now based on the INET mobility (old code left inside... TODO: Cleaning)
- UL MAP changed, bandwidth reported is now in SYMBOLS (uint16_t could not fit bit/frame)
- Scheduling changed:
+ UGS are served first
+ UGS min allocation of 25 symbols is always granted. This equals ~480Kbps and
max Data-MTU size is 300 Bytes for 12 Bytes/symbol (120*12)
+ BE are served fully or partially based on alloc=req*spare/total_req
+ BE min. limit changed to 126symbols -> 2.4Mbps -> MTU of 1512Bytes (to fit ethernet)
+ rtPS added. MRR is always granted (on other case we have error of wrong config)
+ rtPS min. allocation is 120symbols -> ~2.3Mbps -> MTU of 1440Bytes
+ IF BE is fully served rtPS gets the rest till the MSR limit
- A bug probably fixed in the UL-MAP for UGS service bandwidth allocation (shceduleUL()).
- In order for the IP to route correctly we have register sub-interfaces of wimax interface.
(One for each CID we acquire)
- Vlan to CID mapping and forwarding done.
- Vlan traffic differentiation on Convergence Sublayer (Layer 2 ...).
- Multiple CIDs may be requested based on the ServiceConfig Module (EPON Project).
- Changed the BroadCast messages on the BS in order to send at LEAST 1 (independent of the frequency).
- Register interface added: for INET protocol stack to work.
- DHCP disabled.
- IPv6 disabled.
- INET/MANET compatibility - matching done: New models created..
