It looks like there are drivers and controller to keyboard / mouse mapping software available for Ubuntu

This could make a very nice mode switching tool for PhUI GUI or other Job Engine programs.

Current version of code that supports the standard XBOX controllers. There are some issues with this code which need fixing. e.g. it drifts.
