Differences with UFS workflow: 1) script for running model (run_neuralgcm.sh) replaces run_fv3.sh 2) run_neuralgcm.py runs neuralgcm, writes GFS-lookalike history files and initializes from same history files. 3) getz500.sh (getz500_plev.sh) computes z500 errors relative to ERA5 on 1 deg grid. For native-model level (sigma) version, use config.sh.sigma and main.sh.sigma (copy to config.sh, main.sh) For pressure level version (using model encoder/decoder) use config.sh.plev and main.sh.plev (and getz500_plev.sh for computing z500 errors). copy executables from /work2/noaa/gsienkf/whitaker/neuralgcm_enkf_psonly_sigma/exec_hercules into local exec_hercules directory. initial conditions (for sigma levs) available in /work2/noaa/gsienkf/whitaker/neuralgcm_enkf_psonly_sigma/2021083000 initial conditions (for plevs) available in /work2/noaa/gsienkf/whitaker/neuralgcm_enkf_psonly_plev/2021083000
