Requirements

• PHP v8.3
• Composer v2.7.4
• Mysql
• Pusher
• React
• Scout (Mellisearch)

Setup

1. Run composer install to install the PHP dependencies.
2. Run npm install to install the Node.js dependencies.
3. Run php artisan migrate:fresh --seed to migrate the database and seed it with data.

• Copy API Keys

Environment Configuration

1. Copy the .env.example file and rename it to .env.

2. Populate the following API keys in the .env file:

   • SCOUT_DRIVER=meilisearch

   • BROADCAST_DRIVER=pusher

   • PUSHER_APP_ID

   • PUSHER_APP_KEY

   • PUSHER_APP_SECRET

   • PUSHER_APP_CLUSTER

3. Additionally, for client-side environment variables, update your .env file as follows:

   VITE_APP_NAME="${APP_NAME}"
   VITE_PUSHER_APP_KEY="${PUSHER_APP_KEY}"
   VITE_PUSHER_HOST="${PUSHER_HOST}"
   VITE_PUSHER_PORT="${PUSHER_PORT}"
   VITE_PUSHER_SCHEME="${PUSHER_SCHEME}"
   VITE_PUSHER_APP_CLUSTER="${PUSHER_APP_CLUSTER}"
   

   These variables will be used in your client-side code, so make sure to replace ${...} placeholders with actual values.
