These improvements were made using TGE's latest commits to his AtlusScriptCompiler project. If you're working on this menu, you will need to make sure you build the latest version of that from source.
The new hooking feature allows us to call our new functions from fld_square_menu() without recompiling the rest of the script, which for some reason caused these issues.
